About Me
Hi! I’m Reshma, Founder and Chef of Every Aroma and Vannu Tinnuka, based in Mumbai, India.
Food has been my lifelong companion. Growing up in Mumbai, I spent hours following my mother into the kitchen — curious about every aroma, every sizzle, every spice she used.
Those moments planted the seeds of what would become my greatest passion.
My culinary journey began with something humble yet deeply personal — Poha, a comforting
Maharashtrian breakfast of flattened rice tossed with chilies, onions, and fresh coriander.
From that simple dish, I began exploring the vast world of regional home cooking, learning to recreate the flavors that told the stories of our family and heritage.
In 2010, after completing a Cookery and Bakery course from IHM Mumbai, I started Every Aroma. What began as a small home venture has since evolved into a brand that celebrates the essence of Indian home food. Each year has been a new chapter of growth — learning modern techniques, exploring global cuisines, and refining traditional recipes while keeping their soul intact.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to cook for and host over 500+ travelers from around the world, creating intimate dining experiences that showcase the diversity of Indian flavors. I’ve also organized and participated in numerous food and restaurant pop-ups across India, sharing authentic regional meals that spark connection and conversation.
My travels across India — from Kolhapur and Goa to Chennai, Kochi, Lucknow, Delhi, and Banaras — have shaped my understanding of how geography, culture, and emotion come together on a plate. Each journey has taught me that food is not just about taste — it’s about storytelling, memory, and belonging.
In October 2024, I took this dream abroad through my first International Culinary and Cultural Exchange in Japan, where I conducted a workshop and served a traditional Maharashtrian meal to nearly 80 Japanese guests. It was an unforgettable milestone — the moment Every Aroma’s flavors reached international shores.
Through Every Aroma and Vannu Tinnuka, my goal is simple yet profound: to show that Indian regional food is more than Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala — it’s a tapestry of history, heritage, and heart.
Cooking, feeding, and capturing the joy of food are what keep me inspired every single day. I hope you find something here that excites you to learn, eat, and cook — and that you join me on this flavorful journey across kitchens, cultures, and continents.
